Dock Seals offer a very significant opportunity to conserve energy. In the majority of applications this equipment pays for itself the first year in heating costs alone. There are additional savings in the areas of security, personal safety, and product spoilage.
Dock Seal comes in three pieces.
Header (top) - 12 inches high by 120" OAL (foam is 114" allowing 3" each end for mounting), with a projection from 10"-20".
(2) Verticals (sides) - 96" high by 12" wide at truck face then beveled back to 9.5" at wall.
Manufacturer will provide 8 predrilled steel brackets and 16 lag bolts. Dock Seal header is mounted and bonded on 2" x 12" treated lumber, verticals are mounted on 2" x 10" treated lumber.
NOTE: Dock Seal in combination with an Edge-Of-Dock Leveler requires a 20" minimum projection.

These dock seals were very easy to install (only took the installer about a
half-day) and they seem to be working very well. I had a bit of trouble
ordering them online, but I just called SJF and Jason helped me with my order.
I placed the order and in about 10 days had them delivered to my dock.
Jason also recommended some other dock door products that I had never heard of
but sound really cool - stuff like air curtains, vinyl stripping and screen
doors (heck yeah! screen doors for docks). Anyway, this was my first time
ordering from these guys and I have since placed a few more orders - always to

We load and unload paper products daily in our facility. The fabric on these
dock deals really take quite a bit of abuse without wearing out. They have held
