These fork mounted double drum lifters enable lift truck operators to install or remove the attachment in seconds without any tools. Totally enclosed fork truck pockets with attached safety chain mechanism is completely mechanical requiring no hydraulic or electrical connections. Quick adjustable heads allow pickup of various drum heights. Standard belt bases support the lower side of the drum eliminating dents or cosmetic marring. Each drum is gripped with two upper and lower jaws in heads that are spaced about 6 inches apart. The swivel action is operator friendly permitting pickup of misaligned or slightly separated drums. Recommended when handling fiber and plastic drums in excess of 600 lbs. and light gauge open head steel drums.
